According to the research state of mechanical problem on FGM underthermo-elastic loading, a finite element analysis of2D-FGM plane thermo-elasticitywith temperature-dependent material properties during heating and cooling process isproposed in this paper.Employing continuous medium mechanics as theoretical basis, the contolequations of plane thermo-elastic problem are derived, using classic calculus ofvariations and weighted residual method to establish variation theorems of plane heatconduction and thermal stress problem of FGM with temperature-dependent materialproperties respectively, and their finite element equations are given. Presentingtemperature-dependent material properties Al1100/Ti-6Al-4V/ZrO2FGM and Al1100/Ti-6Al-4V/ZrO2FGM not consider temperature-dependent material propertiesand temperature-dependent material properties Ti-6Al-4V/ZrO2FGM as three kindsmajor study models in this research, and FGM material properties which are based onKerner mesomechanics model are provided. On these foundations, plane meshing andFGM with temperature-dependent material properties plane thermo-elasticity finiteelement program are coded. Furthermore, the analytic solutions of this problem aftersimplification are obtained by employing mathematical analysis method; throughcontrasting analytic and numerical results the validity of finite element procedure istestified. At last, utilizing finite element program to calculate numerically, thetransient temperature fields and thermal stress distributions of FGM plane underheating and cooing process are obtained for the first time.From the numerical results of hert conduction performance of2D-FGM withtemperature-dependent material properties it can be indicated that with increasing ofnon-homogeneous parameters mxand my, the heat conduction capability of Al1100/Ti-6Al-4V/ZrO2FGM considered temperature-dependent material properties ispromoted rapidly, customizing value of myfrom0.05to10.0the internal minimumisotherm value of this structure is raised by62%during heating process and reducedby29.5%during cooling process; The diversification of porosity control coefficientsAxand Aywill cause deformation obviously on temperature distribution of2D-FGM,increases of Aylead isotherm to a tendency of longitude; The varies are not obvious when compared isotherm value of FGM during heating and cooling process betweenconsidering temperature-dependent material properties and not, but the location ofisotherm with same value are different.From the numerical results of thermal stress distribution regular pattern of2D-FGM with temperature-dependent material properties it can be showed that theeffect of mxand myon the value and shape of isostress contours of FGM structure isvery large, the maximum absolute value of thermal isostress contours of lowerboundary centre position of structure amplified from240MPa when my=0.05to720MPa when my=10.0during heating process, the aggrandizing rate attained to200%; the thermal stress value distribution trend of the2D-FGM is depressed with theraising of Axand Ayvalue as a whole; Comparing temperature-dependent materialproperties is considered and not considered, the differences on thermal stress fieldshape and isostress value of2D-FGM are notable, the most external thermal stressvalues of two gather domain on upper half of structure which is consideredtemperature-dependent material properties during cooling process are240MPa and260MPa respectively, when temperature-dependent material properties is notconsidered the values are100MPa and120MPa, by the means of comparing it can beknown the depression of stress value is very remarkable.Consequently, appropriate selection of parameters can fulfill the require ofthermal stress diminishing of the metarial and structure on design and application, thenumerical solution can prove to be the reference standard to inspect other exactsolution.
