AuNP(Au nanoparticles)-PDMS(Polydimethylsiloxane) composite, which use the PDMS as elastic foundation and add AuNP as preparative enhanced material, has the virtues of both. Moreover, due to the relatively large specific surface area of AuNP and a wide contact surface between AuNP and PDMS, this composite possesses special properties that are different from many conventional materials, such as surface plasmon resonance, Electron tunneling effect etc. The nanocomposite has shown a remarkable nature in optical, electrical aspects and also has important research significance and application value in terms of elastic electrodes, bio-sensing, and storage element production.AuNP-PDMS composite was study deeply and widely in the last decade, mainly concentrated on the optical properties while the study on the electrical aspects is seldom. On account of the composite material is a new type of conductivity-insulating freedom hybrid material, its resistance is very sensitive to the changes of strain and can be used as a precision micro-sensing device further.Therefore, this paper makes an in-depth study on the physical preparation method and electrical characteristics of AuNP-PDMS composite, specific tasks are as follows:1. Sodium citrate was used as a reducing agent and stabilizer, chlorine acid solution was reduced to prepare gold nanoparticles. Through the change of reaction temperature, finally implement a size control to gold particles:10nm gold nanoparticles at about20℃room temperature,30nm large size gold nanoparticles in80℃aqueous solution. Sodium borohydride was used as a reducing agent to obtained nano golden seed, CTAB(Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide), gold chloride acid, ascorbic Victoria C, template preparation agent was mixed as growth solution, then blend these solution together to acquire rod/star-shaped gold nanoparticles.2. To prepare the gold nanoparticles-polydimethylsiloxane composite film with the immersion method and the mixing method respectively. To study the influence of gold nanoparticles alcohol concentration and immersion time in immersion legal process, the weight ratio of gold nanoparticles and elastic substrate in mixing method, ultimately obtain the optimum condition. The analysis and characterization of composite materials were carried out with the aid of modern analytical techniques, including UV-visible spectroscopy SEM, TEM etc. Other factors that may exist on the production method were also described. The pros and cons of both approaches were discussed at the last of this chapter.3. The preparation method of high-doped composites is deliberated due to the exceptional situation caused by large gold nanoparticles quality. Build a conductance test system to explore the electrical properties of the gold AuNP-PDMS composite material. The resistance value with deformation of AuNP-PDMS composite film was tested.
