In atom optics or atomic gyroscope, and many other applications, are inseparable from the technology of cold atoms. In these applications, the requirement of atomic loading process is as quick as possible. The purpose of this thesis is to build a high flux of cold atomic beam device by using2D Magneto Optical Trap(MOT) system, in order to meet the following3D MOT loading and capture time of cold atoms higher requirements.This thesis mainly introduces the two-dimensional magneto optical trap system including cooling and trapping atoms and obtaining some key technologies of high flux cold atomic beam. This thesis is divided into six chapters:the first chapter, first of all, introduced the present research situation and background of magneto optical trap, then expounds the research significance, the present situation and its applications of cold atomic beam. The second chapter mainly introduced the working principle of magneto optical trap, including laser on the interaction with atoms, gradient force, scattering force, etc., and the influence of magnetic field on the atom. The third chapter introduced the2D MOT scheme selection and constructed the theoretical model of2D MOT+Push Beam. On this basis, the fourth chapter mainly investigated the structures of MOT, including, vacuum, magnetic field and laser systems, and its design are discussed and analyzed. Then the fifth chapter, in the two-dimensional magneto optical trap system cold atomic beam is observed and measured. The last chapter summarizes the work of the thesis, and the outlook for the next step of work.
