Information of climate change is taken record with the lake change. In particular, in the special position of inland lakes, it can be a much better record such as climate and environment change of the Lake District. For the Inner Mongolia plateau lakes, it belongs to the arid inland park, it is a unique ecosystem in arid area Unit, The formation, expansion, contraction, and it disappeared as a result of interaction between global, regional and climate change. As the regional Social Development and the rapid impact of human activities, subject to disturbance of the ecological environment of lakes, therefore, the study on the dynamic changes of lakes, as well as the impact is indispensable sable in this article the Horqin typical sandy-meadow area as the research area. Using the multi temporal TM/ETM+remote sensing images, extracting the lake area information from1986to2013based on remote sensing and GIS technology, then analyzing the variation law and spatial distribution characteristics for the lake numbers and area. Combining with factors of precipitation, evaporation and the human activity effect time factor t, The simulation and analysis of the lake area were performed using multivariate statistical analysis method. The results showed that:1.The numbers and area of lake in the study area have changed (increased or decreased) in nearly30years, and The trends showed a strong positive correlation with the rainfall, showed a negative correlation with evaporation, the influence of human activities to the small lake area was not significant, the lake area tended to shrink as time goes by, which was mainly attributed to the drying climate;2.There was a strong correlation among the lakes area in the year of t, the lake area of previous year, precipitation, and evaporation in t, which can be simulated with the linear equations and nonlinear equations, this relationship will have a good simulation and prediction of changes in the local lakes area.3.Application of GIS and RS binding theory analysis of1986-2013years of typical lakes, research show that the Wangba lake、Bayan lake、Xie lake and Hua lake are both atrophy and expansion in different directions, different degree of change, Research results not only maintained to provide technical support for the Horqin sandy land ecosystem health, studies on other similar areas of lake environment also has a guiding role.
