Clay mineral is the main production of primary aluminum silicate mineral weathering, It is an important part of the sediment (rock) and soil, Since the middle of the20th century,As the world’s population increasing and support of technology level and economic conditions,Human space activities and engineering scale also continuously increased,The resulting is that slope disaster frequency is higher and higher,Caused significant casualties and economic losses,However, previous research mostly from the morphological and structure and lithology of slope and such as rainfall and earthquake and engineering activities of induced factors to explore the mechanism of slope hazards and related problems,but the report on the study of clay mineral in slope is less,As the micron grade material,clay minerals are widely distributed in all kinds of slope rock mass,And different slope environment formed different clay minerals combination,The genetic mechanism and assortment carried a varied evolution information of slope and plays an important and widespread influence on slope instability.Such as scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis methods are used in this paper and combine with the knowledge of mineralogy and geochemistry to research the clay minerals in residual soil of Touzhai and Chenggong Emeishan basalt slope thorough and meticulous, The results show that:clay minerals in Touzhai weathered basalt are trioctahedron clinochlore and dioctahedron sericite,Have a small quantity of hydromica from damouritization of basalt substrate,And they are all the product of hydrothermal oflater phase of Emeishan basalt diagenetic stage,There are small amount of kaolinite in weathered basalt and it is form through crystallize of allophane,besides,Part of the kaolinite may also direct crystallize form solution in weathered basalt.The dominating clay minerals in slope soil is montmorillonite,and it is form through pedogenesis of chlorite and mica,Acidic and high organic matter of Weathering crust environment and high soil moisture content influenced by microclimate and high vegetation coverage that control the process of change and the type of secondary minerals. Clay minerals in Chenggong Emeishan basalt weathering crust and lower weathered basalt are main co-existence of0.7nm halloysite and kaolinite,The formation of0.7nm halloysite strictly controlled by the weathering crust of weathering dynamics,Experienced silicon aluminum aluminum gelâ†'allophaneâ†'0.7nm halloysite,Strong oxidation leads to the low content of organic matter and the weak acid environment of weathering crust influenced by low base ions and low organic matter content that avoided Alsoluble complexed by organic ligand but unstable,This is very favorable for the formation of halloysite,the formation of Kaolinite through dynamic change of feldspar crystal solid phase,present Fold the sheet and Book form shape,Further weathering it will be broken down into a single flake kaolinite.
