Wangfu Sag is located in the northwest of southeast uplift area of Songliao Basin, thispaper comprehensively using sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, seismic stratigraphy, tectonic stratigraphy, reservoir geology, such as the latest theory as the foundation, throughcore observation, used in analysis of seismic, well logging, mud logging data, the palace areasprings a reservoir reserves by structure, fault and sedimentary environment analysis andresearch of various kinds of factors. At the same time, combined with the feature of wangfuregion tectonic geology, carry out the structural, sedimentary and oil-water distribution, etc. This study can provide reliable basis for the division of the region sequence, as the study areaand similar basin and predicts the favorable zones of provide a better theoretical basis. This article mainly aims at springs of quantou formation period of study. In under theguidance of high-resolution sequence stratigraphy theory, combined with the feature ofelectrical response of quantou springs a stratigraphic division and correlation. Could bedivided into five springs a sand layer group,18small. On the basis of stratigraphicclassification based on the sedimentary facies marks, log facies in the study area, seismicfacies marks, such as the study of reservoir sedimentary characteristics of depositional systemanalysis, were divided into2types of sedimentary facies,5kinds of sedimentary and9typesof sedimentary microfacies. According to the long-term and stable tectonic subsidence of theformation of the large area of reservoir, through a study of the reservoir characteristics, gaswater distribution and control factors of analysis and study on prediction of favorable zones.
