Coal is an important strategic resource of China. rich in coal, oil-poor, less gas characteristics of China’s energy structure determines the important position in the coal energy supply.The tectonic conditions of liuzhuang coal mine is unique and complex. Therefore, a profound understanding of the mine’s tectonic objective law and accurate assessment of the complexity of the mine structure, Its purpose is to choose reasonable areas for mechanized coal mining and to provide a scientific basis for high efficient utilization of resources.Based on analyzing the geological structure of Liuzhuang coal mine area, this paper focuses on the characteristics of the distribution of the geological formations of the East-I mining zone.By using fuzzy comprehensive Evaluation method,five quantitative evaluation index are selected to evaluate the Complex Degree of Geological Structure at East-Ⅰ Mining Zone, Liuzhuang Coal Mine,Gray System Modeling is applied to Predict evaluation index values of non-mining area and the structural complexity degree of non-mining is evaluated quantitatively.The following results has been made in the paper:(l)The structures of folds and faults are all development in East-Ⅰ Mining Zone, Liuzhuang Coal Mine,but faults are more development.Synclinal fold structure is Xieqiao Synclinal’s wings, sub-level fold less developed, fold only growth in the F1Nappe’s broken folder block, and is asymmetric tight folds.The most of revealed faults in the minefield are normal faults.and only a few NW and NWW trending reverse fault developed. The plane combination form of faults are the main parallel form,followed by cross-portfolio and irregular form,the combination in profile form with graben,horst,ladder form,and inter layer-gliding structures development.(2)By comparing,the fault density,fault strength index,the fault to affect the index,flat fold intensity index,construction area of loss coefficient of five quantitative evaluation index are selected to use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,By evaluating quantitatively the structural complexity degree of mining area in East-Ⅰ Mining Zone, Liuzhuang Coal Mine which has been divided Into84units,The results are:47units of class1,14units of class Ⅱ,12units of classⅢ and11units of classⅣ.Evaluation results are consistent with the actual exposed exploitation situation. On this basis,the Gray System Model is used to forecast the index value of non-mining area and the structural complexity of non-mining area is evaluated quantitatively which has been divided into51 units.The results are:21units of class Ⅰ,10units of class Ⅱ,11units of classⅢ.9units of classIV.So mine non-mining area with a whole lower structural complexity degree,it is show that non-mining area is more appropriate for comprehensive mechanical mining.
