In recent years, as the global forest ecosystem is constantly being destroyed, how to protect and restore biodiversity has become a hot issue. As a fundamental part of biological diversity, the species diversity is even the core, and also is considered a top priority. Therefore, quantification of species diversity is the focus of research on biodiversity, and also the key of evaluation on the status of forest ecosystems.This research study at home and abroad on the basis of species diversity, species diversity index raised again, by generally using brainstorming, inside and outside method, Delphi method to build composite index of species diversity index system, and then use CRITIC method to construct species diversity composite index model, at last take the fir plantation of Pingjiang Fushou national forest and the Castanopsis eyrei secondary forest of Pingjiang Lutou national forest for object of study, the two forest species diversity index were calculated. The main results are as follows:1.Forest species diversity index comprehensive system to determine the size of the species diversity. The index values between0and1, the greater the value, indicating that the higher the degree of species diversity.2.The species diversity index rebuild took into account community richness, evenness and diversity contains six indicators, namely Margalef index, Gleason index, Pielou index (Jsw and Jsi), PIE index, Audair and Goff index. Combined with the original data and survey measurement model calculations based on various indicators empowerment weight, the results obtained composite index value.3.The composite index measurement model is applied to natural secondary forest and pine plantations, compared to both the value of the index weight there are some differences. Longevity Forest:Margalef index (0.49), Gleason index (0.51), Pielou index Jsw (0.65), Pielou index Jsi (0.35), PIE index (0.36), Audair and Goff index (0.64); reed head Woodland:Margalef index (0.49), Gleason index (0.51), Pielou index Jsw (0.55), Pielou index Jsi (0.45), PIE index (0.52), Audair and Goff index (0.48).4.In the fir plantations and natural secondary forest plots in the test set, response calculated species diversity index values of the various communities propose appropriate measures to protect species diversity. The results show that compared with the traditional diversity indices, species diversity by the build composite index of species diversity expressed more comprehensive scientific connotation, can well meet the contemporary requirements for the evaluation of species diversity.
