Abstract/Summary:
In this article, we research the distribution of gold resources in the southeastern region of Fuxin. We have summed up the ore-controlling factors of the gold mine and analyzed its metallogenic laws on the basis of full research on the geological, geophysical and geochemical exploration and other data in this region. This research uses the gray correlative analysis method to make the metallogenic prediction. We research the typical gold deposits to expound the relationship between ore-controlling factors (geological variables) and grids containing mineral. In this way, we can obtain the correlation coefficient between the factors of measures and grids containing mineral, and further determine its weight. We use the major weight factors as predictor variable. The optimum values of every variable constitute the reference sequence. We build the quantitative relationship between the variables of grids and reference sequence (quantitative prediction model) to calculate the degree of association for the prediction units and reference units. Metallogenic punchy of prediction units can be judged by the degree of association, which can sort prediction units. Finally we can determine the metallogenic target area and its level. After analysis, we delineate two first order prospective areas, two secondary order prospective areas and three third order prospective areas. It will provide some scientific basis on deployment of mineral exploration work in this region.
