Fujian is located in the southeast coast of China, which is the relatively active andstrong earthquake place in the eastern area. And as one of the economic developmenthotspots of the eastern parts, earthquakes and the disasters they cause have an importantinfluence in the sustainable development. Therefore, in terms of the economicinterests or security implications, research on level and vertical deformation of Fujianregion is of great significance. This paper, the southeast coast of Fujian as theresearch goal, processes GPS monitoring deformation data and precise leveling data. With the deformation models, the paper analyzes the crustal deformation characteristicsand the relationship between research and seismogenic, which provides the basis for ourlong-term earthquakes prediction. This paper describes the background, research methods and techniques, the mainresearch content. I briefly introduce the geological structure background of the coastalareas of Fujian province, systemly summarize the mathematical models of the crustaldeformation based on geodesy observational data, and further deduce more rigorousmodel formulas. Secondly, this paper introduces the distribution scheme of GPS point, and on basis of Fujian crustal deformation monitoring data, mainly GPS data, andprocesses the data with GAMIT software and obtains Horizontal velocity field. Then Isummarize the horizontal deformation characteristics by the horizontal deformationmodels and dynamic mechanism. And then I illustrate the distribution scheme ofleveling point. Then I sum up the vertical crust deformation characteristics according tothe standard data and using the vertical deformation models for processing analysis. Then analyze the vertical deformation models. Finally we draw the conclusion of crustaldeformation characteristics of Fujian coastal areas.
