Our country is a mountainous country, geological disasters are more frequent that almostthroughout the country, particularly, it’s more serious in the southwest region. At present,China has accelerated the pace of economic construction. In particular, we have constructedsome major water conservancy and road projects, at the same time, slope support engineeringis increasing, and be facing higher demands: necessary to comply with safety and reliability,also should meet the cost of economic rationality, moreover, it also ought to satisfy therequirements of the surrounding environment control. Therefore, It is an urgent task forresearchers and designers to find a good design which can meet the design requirements andcost.Basing on reading a lot of literature, this paper has made a point that optimal design ofslope supporting structure should be divided into two levels: preferred the support programsand detailed the structural design. And it has focused on the basic theory a nd methods of thethe support programs’s selecting and the structural design’s refinement, what’s more,combined landslide instance, using the theory and methods of optimization to optimize thedesign. The main contents are:Firstly, it made a detailed analysis of the types of slope supporting structure, andintroduced the slope support’s types, characteristics and the scope of application. Secondly,made more scientific and rational preferred mode of slope optimization of slope supportprograms, used AHP for calculating the proportion of each factor, inculcated fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method for Selecting the shortlisted support programs.Then, byparticle swarm optimization algorithm, it has detailed to optimize the design of anti-slide pile.In this paper, it has made a detailed exposition of particle swarm optimization algorithm’sbasic principles and applications principles. Combining with water landslide instance, thepaper has used the matlab program to write process PSO, and optimized the anti-slide pile.The results show that particle swarm optimization algorithm can be used to optimize thedesign of slope supporting structure, and be able to achieve better economic and socialbenefits.
