Currently, disasters of ground subsidence and ground fissures as the main forms ofground deformation often occur and bring great hazard, seriously affecting the normal livingand economic development. In order to take the deeply study for the reasons that buildings,tunnels and roads, etc. are damaged caused by a series of geological disasters, such as groundsubsidence and ground fissures, etc. the study combined with CGS-the physical simulationexperimental research project about the reason and preventive action for ground subsidenceand ground fissures, the method of modern mechanical product design is applied to designhuge simulated platform to simulate change of stratum settlement. This paper mainly studiesthe key parts of mechanical system and control system of platform.The overall scheme of the test platform has been designed to finalize the test platformconsisted by mechanical control system (panel system, bearing system, lift system), computercontrol system and ancillary system. Meanwhile, load of each panel of panel system has beencalculated.3D modeling software has been used to model each panel and six-pointed bearing andAWB finite element analysis software for their static analysis. Unreasonable places wherepanel structure and bearing structure existed have been improved based on the analysis result,making the great stress in some important parts of panel and bearing effectively resolved,which greatly enhances the safety performance of the entire system.Experiment is applied to give the further test on the strength of panels and bearings oftest system. It certifies that panel system and bearing system will not be damaged duringworking, which validates the reliability of mechanical system of test platform.Compared with advantages and disadvantages of different control schemes, IPC has beenchosen as upper computer and PLC as lower computer for overall control scheme. Accordingto the requirement of control scheme, there is reasonable need for each of hardware aimed atcontrol system required.
