Research On Construction And Updating Of Urban Fundamental Geographic Information

With the development of digital city and smart city, the requirements for urbanbasic geographic information are also increasing. Urban spatial data infrastructureshould not only have the ability to provide traditional topographic maps, but also needDLG and3D Geographic information. But the present situation quality of theinformation is also very high,"digital line and map" is a kind of map and theintegration of DLG data, a product can provide maps with DLG database, it hasobvious advantage in the update, and the use of cross-platform. The transformation ofthe city fundamental geographic information results in Xi’an city as an example tostudy the "digital line and map", the main research contents include：1. This paper analyzes the characteristics of "digital line and map" data systemand city spatial data infrastructure. It also expatiates on the function and significanceof "digital line and map" in the city spatial data infrastructure.2. It Analysis the expression and the information structure of Xi’an City terrainmap for differences in map and city DLG, in comparison to the way of expression,information integrity, geometry, properties, a conversion table, the conversion strategyspecifies.3. Depending on DLG with the map data system transformation, method throughthe research process, analysis, gives the corresponding geometric transformation, dataintegrity, topology construction, quality inspection, the formation of DLG databaseintegrity technology process.4. According to construct the map which is the part of "digital line and map"based on DLG, designed a large scale topographic map template, through the testtemplate, reach the schema requirements.From the map of the city to the geographical information involves manytheoretical and technical problems, through practice and study of this paper, the author believes that "digital line and map" as the city fundamental geographicinformation can not only meet the traditional city map services, but also provide thegeographic information in the era of information service. It is a new generation ofdigital products, a complete and effective solution. It is technically feasible that mapconversion to the "digital line and map". This paper is based on the MapStoreplatform, which can provide a lot of models and technical supports for dataconversion.
