Tunneling is an important part of production, but also the forefront of disaster prevention,often influenced by a variety of adverse geological conditions while tunneling, bring seriousrisks to the production and safety, advanced prediction and forecasting is necessary. As one ofthe main means, existing technologies of advanced prediction are still inadequate in observingsystem arrangement, data acquisition and data processing and other aspects, so thedevelopment of DC resistivity method advanced prediction has important significance.Proposed the3D advanced prediction system, numerical simulation, combine physicalsimulation and engineering application. Study effects of various impact factors (array,calculation method, electrode spacing, roadway influence, abnormal body size, abnormal bodyresistivity ratio and abnormal body position) of DC resistivity method in advanced predictionto exploration from shallow to deep. Testing response and effect in3D forward and inversemodeling, sink and sand-box model experiments, coal and rock roadway application, proposedthe data processing method of2D migration combine3D inversion imaging.The main conclusions of numerical simulation are:(1) in terms of positioning effect offront abnormal body and astringency of apparent resistivity curves, pole-pole array wassuperior to pole-dipol array;(2) the size of electrode spacing had no effect on the AGI forwardresults;(3) roadway effect in the junction of floor and highwall was less than floor or highwall;(4) the size of abnormal body in either direction increases, the stronger forward low resistivityresponse and more accurate position identification;(5) the positioning of the low resistivityanomaly better than high resistivity anomaly, more difference between abnormal bodyresistivity ratio and1, more obvious effect;(6) the apparent resistivity curve with morepronounced extremes, greater extent change and faster convergence speed of last parts whilethe survey line close to anomaly;(7) through multi-point source migration processing,flanking anomalies can be eliminated effectively.The main conclusions of physical simulation and engineering application are:(1)2Dadvanced migration difficult to locate anomalies because of the limited size of experimentalmodel, the evident boundary effect and the non-compliance "infinity pole";(2) the apparentresistivity gradual change caused by depth effect can be eliminated by3D data inversion;(3)boundary and "infinity pole" effect of the field data was weak,2D advanced migrationapparent resistivity map can be combined with3D inversion map or field data;(4) the bagelectrode applied to all kinds of complex roadway construction environment, the brushelectrode achieved good results for hole electric method.
