Qinba Mountain is located in the central of China.The geological structure backgroundand lithology in this area are complex coupled with the particularity of climaticconditions,which makes it become one of the highest incidence of geological disastersarea.The shallow debris landslide take a large proportion of the various geologicaldisasters.predisposing factors of these landslides mainly include rainfall and human factors.Therefore understand the failure characteristics of shallow landslides and the effects ofrainwater on slope have a vital role to explain the formation mechanism of shallow landslides.For the shallow debris landslides in this study area, to understand the rainfall-inducedshallow landslide failure characteristics and rain water infiltration on landslide, this thesisuses rainfall model test to explain it. Hold a single rainfall intensity until the slopedeformation and failure, then get the failure characteristics and rainfall infiltration law, analysAnalyze the changes in shallow gravel class landslide seepage field, displacement field, stressfield, explain the failure mechanism and observe the transformation process from landslide todebris. Carry out this rainfall model tests provides scientific basis for the damage mechanismof landslides and a theoretical basis for the prevention.There are three times tests after thecollection of material and build the model tank,then achieved the following:1, Propose a kind of model test for the shallow rubble landslide in the Qinba mountain,which fully embodies the characteristics of landslides in this mountain.2, Through the model test in the heavy rain conditions, we discover that the failure modelis flow of soil.3, Under the heavy rainfall condition, the process of landslide transform to mudslides hasno clear boundary, the mudslides happens at same time of flowing of soil.4, Under the condition of low rainfall intensity,.the saturation of shallow slopes isrelatively small, the air resistance will affect rainwater seepage. In contrast, under thecondition of strong rainfall intensity, seepage occurs along the slope, which increase the porewater pressure, decrease the shear strength of slippery surface and lead the slope to fail...
