In the past decades, complex dynamical networks have attracted more and moreattention from researchers and engineers in various fields of science and engineering.Synchronization of complex dynamical networks has been widely studied.Intermittent control is one of discontinous control methods which is widely applicableand high available. Therefore, researching synchronization of complex dynamicalnetworks, especially complete synchronization and cluster synchronization, viaintermittent control has good development prospects.Based on Lyapunov stability theroy, inequation methods are used to researchcomplete sychronation and cluster sychronation of complex dynamical networks viaintermittent control.Sychronation of complex dynamical networks with non-delayed and delayedcoupling is considered. By designed periodically intermittent contollers, complexdynamical networks sychronize with a given orbit, and the synchronization criterion isderived. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the theoretical. Moreover, cluster sychronation of non-delayed community networks and delayedcommunity networks are considered separately. All nodes are divided into somecommunities. By periodically intermittent contolling those nodes which are connectedwith nodes in other communities, nodes in the same communities sychronize with thesame orbit and there is no synchronization between nodes in different communities.By analysis technique, some useful synchronization criteria is derived. Numericalsimulations are provided to verify the theoretical.
