Geostress is natural stress which hosted in the rock mass. It is important for the design and construction of the geological engineering, and is the evaluation index of geological environment and crustal stability. Geostress is one inner stress stored up in rock mass, it isn’t rock-mass inhesion characteristics like mechanical index, but it is a mechanical state in rock masses. The stress state of engineering rock mass is generally different in different space. So the stress field can be determined only by measurement. The actual stress value always is unknown, so it is not possible to compare measured values and unknown values in order to determine the accuracy of measurement results. As a result, to define the in-situ stress regime accurately is one very important basis for stability design and evaluation of underground project.Piezomagnetic overcoring method began to develop in china from 1950s. In order to measure three-dimensional stress in a single borehole, YJ-95 piezomagnetic stresses sensor was manufactured. However data analysis software for piezomagnetic stresses sensor was not enough intelligent, which was too difficult to process in the project. While the utilization of the stress data for the design of project hardly was researched. So it is necessary to improve and develop the data analysis software.This paper shows the elastic formula of borehole deformation in three dimensional field, and numerically simulates the overcoring process by the finite element software in order to illustrate the change of stress distribution. And then there is three part about "intelligent calculation of measured data"," reliability analysis of measurement results" and "analysis the stress regime of an measurement area " are investigated. After the theoretical research, the design of the new intelligent data analysis Software for piezomagnetic stresses sensor system is expatiated. Finally, take the example of the stress date about Maji dam, the course of data compute,analysis and estimate are illustrate.
