Research area located on the southwest of Ordos Basin, it belongs to southwest section of Shanxi Slope and Tianhuan Syncline on its structure. Base on the results of previous’research, this thesis stress the combine of the well logging, drilling formation, core data, analysis data, oil testing data and product data. In order to increase the accuracy of logging interpretation, we made an in-depth study for the relation of four reservoir’s character based on core, logging Etc. geological calibration.The debris of Chang 8 sandstone reservoir of research area is mainly feldspar debris sandstone, and secondly debris feldspar sandstone. Grain sizes of sandstone is mainly thin-mid grain and very thin-thin grain sandstone, secondly vary grain sandstone. The difference of porosity and permeability within each layer are significant, and exist un-homogenize within each layer. Visible gap type of sandstone contains the remaining intergranular pore, feldspar dissolution pore, debris dissolved pore, intergranular pore, intergranular dissolution pore and micro-cracks, which has the remaining intergranular pore and feldspar dissolution pore as the main. Cement type of the sandstone include pore, increase, film and complex type of them. Due to the particular pore type and pore cementation mode of Chang 8 reservoir in research area, Chang 8 reservoir showed the physical characteristics of low porosity and ultra-low permeability. Researching the relation of four reservoir’s character is the basic of construct the standard for each log interpretation model and effective lower limit of the reservoir’s thickness. Lithology, physical property, oilness and electrical properties of reservoir are interrelated and mutual restraint. Within the relation of four reservoir’s character, lithology is the basic, physical property is the key, oiliness is the core, and the electrical property is the means. This thesis chose the representative wells of research area for the study object of the relation of four characters, and done research to the relation between reservoir’s lithology and electrical properties, lithology and physical property, lithology and oiliness, physical property and oiliness, electrical properties and oiliness. Result that physical property controls the oiliness, and lithology control the physical property, so the lithology have a certain control action to oiliness. The study for the relation of electrical properties and oiliness is the core matter of all. We also combined the core, oil testing and logging data together to analyze the reservoir at the same time, in order to construct reservoir’s physical property lower limit, it contains the lower limit of permeability, porosity, single sand thickness and oil layer thickness.The thesis collected a lot of physical property data, core data, logging data and analysis information and data while using the previous’reference, and made classification and evaluation by geo-statistical method and use reservoir evaluation technology. The way of classify and evaluate we used is a method of classify and evaluate according the sandstone’s pore type and characteristics of capillary pressure.
