Employee turnover has not only been given a lot of attention to by the company, but it is one of the hot issues in the area of Human Resources Management. If the employee turnover rate is too high, it will impact the stability of the talent in the organization and it may increase the cost on human resources. The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation among personality traits, job satisfaction and turnover intention of the employee and to understand whether and how personality traits and job satisfaction impact turnover intention, which will help managers set related policies of Human Resources Management, and retain the talents needed by the company.166 employees working in Shanghai or Shenzhen were sampled and surveyed in random. Here are the several important findings:(l) The employees'job satisfaction is a little above the medium level, but their turnover intention is a little under the medium level. (2) In regards to different respects of satisfaction, the scores of "moral values", "competence", "social service" and "co-workers" are relatively high but "compensation", "promotion", "work load" and "the method of implementing company policy" are lower than the others. (3) Job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on employees' turnover intention. In detail, sense of job achievement, praise from leaders and the manner of leadership have significant effects on employees' turnover intention. (4) Neuroticism has a significant negative effect on employees' job satisfaction, but has a significant positive effect on employees' turnover intention. (5) Job satisfaction has a full mediation effect among neuroticism, job satisfaction and turnover intention.According to the results of the research, the following suggestions are made: (1) trying best to meet achievement needs of the staff so that they can have a sense of achievement (2) praising the staff immediately when they perform well (3) selecting appropriate manners of leadership (4) making the staff feel better about their salary (5) Making sure that the proper job is for the right person.
