Ownership theory is an important component of scientific socialism. Scientific predictions on social ownership relations and economic relations in the future are the important elements of Marxism. Since the "eliminate private ownership" slogan was declared in the "Communist Manifesto", Marx and Engels had not been interrupted for the exploration of the social ownership. In the "Das Kapital", Marx submitted on the "reestablishing personal ownership" further. What forms of ownership that socialist society and communist society should establish can be suitable for the development of the productive forces, which is the explored, practiced and developed by the Marxist-constant. However, the historical fact that socialist revolution won victory initially in backward oriental countries made state ownership the dominant form of ownership in socialist countries. Although state ownership has played a positive role in socialist construction, it has been unable to overcome its inherent basic contradiction in the disconnection of means of production from workers. Reforming state ownership and "Reestablishing personal ownership" is the direction of development for socialist ownership. From the analysis of these classic writers with the views of social ownership in the future, the thesis puts the emphasis on the exploration of the address to the personal ownership which belonged to the classic writers such as Marx and Engels, and the practice of socialist countries. At first, it analyzes the connotations of personal ownership and its relationship with the current ownership. Then, it focuses on the theory and reality conditions of "Reestablishing personal ownership". Finally, it reaches a conclusion that the personal ownership is the direction of the socialist ownership reform and development. However, the ownership reform in any society can not change artificially. Therefore, to achieve this ownership needs a very long historical process.
