With the reform, opening-up and economy transition in China, and the advent of KnowledgeEconomy, the turnover problem becomes more and more popular at nowadays. Employeeturnover study becomes an important field in Human Resources Management. The study purposeof Employee turnover is to grasp the general law of turnover and to reduce turnover rate bystudying turnover phenomenon and finding out its antecedent variables,accommodatingvariables from turnover intention and actual turnover behavior. Enterprises may sourcepossibilities to improve present management model and keep continual and steady developmentalso by turnover study. UP to now, most turnover study focuses on antecedent variables of turnover intention,butfew on accommodating variables of actual turnover behavior, study for expert and systemicturnover management is much fewer.This study describes the Price's model, constructs and variables. Though the new variablesare introduced, and therefore the model is partly modified. The paper develops the hypotheses,By the principles and questionnaire design and investigate and statistics, analyzed statistical databy SPSS 12.0, we test our hypotheses. This study employed hierarchical regression to investigatethe power of structural and environmental variables and interactions of a new variable, informalgroup factors, and structural-environmental variables in the Price turnover model with a data setfrom manufacture industry in China. The findings include: 1. Professional Growth Chance,Promotional Chance, Rountinization explained turnover intention significantly. 2. Interactionterms between informal group factors and procedure justice exhibited significant effects in theregression.The purpose of turnover study is to find some measures to resolve the problem, namely howto retain employee. The turnover intention of employee is affected by a lot of factors, so how toretain employee is a systemic project, and, therefore, provided evidence for contingencyperspective of turnover intention literature.
