Thought On The Developing Strategy Of China's Processing Trade

Since opening and reform policy of China, Chinese processing trade continuously develop much stronger and gradually become the main form of foreign trade, which promotes the rapid growth of Chinese national economy. However, the industry chain of Chinese processing trade is short and concerning facets are limited, which cause processing trade to have the dependence on multinational enterprise inevitably. Therefore current processing trade in China fails to impulse economy to develop continuously. Some scholars point out that the development of Chinese processing trade is only temporary strategy under a certain period and condition and suggest that the authority should adopt macroeconomic policy to control the expanding scale of processing trade. Whether China needs to develop processing trade or not? If so, how to develop processing trade to improve domestic increment rate and impulse economy to develop continuously? The author carries out to analyze and solve the above problem.Firstly the thesis looks back upon the different stages and the policy system of China processing trade as the whole description of Chinese processing trade in order to make foundation for the future study;then analyzes the economic effect of processing trade from impelling economy, improving employment, promoting technology progress to reconstructing the composition of exporting goods and affirms, the status and function of processing trade.Based upon analysis, as far as concerned how to prolong industry chain of processing trade and how to improve increment rate, the thesis puts forward two strategies: one is to strengthen domestic purchase, the other is to develop the international logistics industry of China. The author analyzed the current circumstance and unfavorable factors of domestic purchasing and logistics industry in processing trade and demonstrates the direction of reform and feasible advice on the basis of successful foreign experience and outcome of domestic researcher.Qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, logical comparison, are used in thisthesis: qualitative analysis make the result of study consist with the theory, quantitative analysis offer data and make the result look more reasonable;by logical comparison, the author find the problem existing in Chinese processing trade and adopt international experience of processing trade for the adjusting of Chinese processing trade policy.The author makes efforts to make thesis creative. The first creative point is intensive understanding of international division theory;the second one exists in the analysis of Chinese free trade zones, the thesis use SPSS software and the method of principle component analysis to appraise Chinese free trade zones, and then author make conclusion that differences exist among fifteen Chinese free trade zones. In addition, some of suggestions for the reform of Chinese free trade zones differ from those in past, these ones base on the international experiences concluded by author.
