Distribution center, as the key node of logistics, its theories have received muchattention of experts. Thereinto, the address selection and process performancemanagement of distribution center are the two focuses in the discussion of specialists.Based on the two points above, this article sdudies the problem of addressselection which is important in distribution center and discusses the problem ofcustomer classification which makes great influence in process performance ofdistribution center. In this article, we inherit the fruits of former researches and havedone some useful studies. At the same time, we have obtained some conclusion. First of all, the theories of distribution center, address selection and customerclustering are introduced in the paper. Fuzzy AHP and fuzzy clustering are analysedtoo.Second, in the aspect of address selection of distribution center: based on thesduty of traditional measures of address selection, we propose a model for addressselection based on fuzzy AHP. Through comparison the model with traditionalmeasures which are qualitative or quantitative, we discuss the advantages anddisadvantages of the address selection models.Third, in the aspect of customer clustering: by comprehensive analyses in theproblem of customer clustering before logistics distribution, we concludes theimportant action of customer classification before logistics distribution indemand-responsive logistical distribution operations which takes the stratagem ofquick response. We proposed an arithmetic which is used for customer classificationthrough amelioration on the former models.Lastly, summarizes the objection of our study, and prospects the impossibledirection of future study.
