Study On Mechanization Development Of Hay Production In China

Mechanization of hay production plays an important role in modernization of animal husbandry in China. Hay industry is now becoming the focus in processes of agricultural structure adjustment and implementation of West Development strategy. Development of hay industry is the inner demand of food-saving animal husbandry, which concerns not only food safety but also West Development policy in our country. Under these circumstances, researching mechanization of hay production with some helpful conclusions drawn will be both of theoretical and practical value in promoting hay industry and animal husbandry modernization.In this paper, the author firstly analyzes the significant effects that hay industry and hay production mechanization have on animal husbandry in China. Document analyses, Gray-Markov Chain Method, SWOT method, qualitative and quantitative method are then applied in analyzing the current status of hay production mechanization, with opportunities and challenges figured out, as well as the weaknesses and advantages. The author also predicts the development trends of hay production mechanization in the next five years. A healthy environment for hay production mechanization is established as well, from varied aspects of human resource training, marketing, etc. In the end, suggestions on laying development plans, setting up organizations and strengthening policy supports are put forward, so as to develop mechanization of hay production in China.
