Strategy Research Of The Integration Of Passenger Transportation In Chengdu Urban And Rural Areas

The integration of urban-rural Road Passenger Transport (RPT) is the basis of the integrated urban-rural areas, and it ensures the fast course of citification. Aiming at the dualization of urban-rural RPT administration and construction, it investigates the strategy of the integrating development in center cities. Drawing lesson from foreign megalopolis' experience of RPT and regarding urban-rural RPT as a integrated whole, it studies systemically a series of problems in the urban-rural RPT development in domestic megalopolis nowadays, and explains the basic connotation, characteristic, development direction, impersonality, inevitability, material measures and relative policy of urban-rural RPT.1. After analyzing the actuality of urban-rural RPT in Chengdu city, its development direction is pointed out by drawing lesson from foreign megalopolis' experience of RPT and from the actuality and the existing problems of RPT administration system in domestic megalopolis. When dealing with the relationship of urban-rural RPT, it regards it important to establish a united transportation system and use the theory of integrated development to realize the cooperation, harmonization and coordination of urban-rural RPT modes.2. Aiming at the weak infrastructure of urban-rural road, the non-coordinateness in traffic programming, the superposition of administration and other actual problems in Chengdu city, it discusses the integrated develop modes and targets of urban-rural RPT: integrated infrastructure, integrated traffic programming, integrated administrant and integrating station construction, line programming with administration system organically. The last purpose is to make urban and rural residents trip conveniently and to promote the social economic development.3. On the basis of the urban-rural RPT actuality in Chengdu city, it presents the policy measures to realize integrated urban-rural RPT development. It emphasizes particularly the integrated administration system and the reinforcement of rural passenger transport infrastructure, the urban-rural RPT programming and the market supervision.
