Private economy is a shining star of the QingPu economy, it contributes really a lot to the development of QingPu economy. To review the whole history and summarize the experience can help us to realize its importance to the development of the economy and society of QingPu. It is also meaningful for us to improve and enhance the responsibility and pressure to develop Private Economy.As the development of the Chinese Market Economy, some original problems and shortcomings in QingPu Private Economy come up. So we must change according to the new historic condition to realize sustainable development. This article works on Private economy in QingPu District by analysing its history and situation, researching its opportunities and challenges. The author tries to find out the right way for the development of Private economy through the elaboration of this article.The author begins with the connotation of the private economy, elaborates its position and importance in theory, and shows us the real meaning that Private Economy has become the important part of china Market Economy more and more.There are totally three parts in this article: Introduction, Straight matter and Conclusion. The third chapter analyses the contribution of private economy to local economy by demonstrating the present private enterprise. The article predicts the development of private economy logically. The fourth chapter points out the opportunity and challenge of private economy in QingPu District. It analyses the opportunities of private economy development from both macrocosmic and microcosmic. At the same time, the paper clues to the internalism and externalism factors which could block the development of private economy in QingPu District. It provides the direction of researching on countermeasure. The last chapter is about how to expedite the development of local private economy.
