The electronic commerce, as a brand-new international commercial pattern has developed very quickly in Europe, America, some other countries and areas recent years. As one of important economy and trade modes in future,it influences not only the competitive advantages of the enterprises but also the success of the economic development of one country. It has become a focal point of the strategic development that consolidates and improves the competitive power of economy. Recent years, Japanese government and enterprises pay much attention to the electronic commerce and push forward "E-Japan Plan"actively and modes of its own electronic commerce . They regards the electronic commerce as an important national policy of the new economy time of Japan and try to improve the international competitive power of the national enterprises and promote the economy of Japan with the help of the electronic commerce. All above mentioned makes the present situation of the the development of Japan's eletronic commerce take on some features below: Firstly, the popularized efficiency of the web is very high. Some organizations predict that all the 100 percent families in the country can link the international internet in 2005. Secondly, the scope of the electronic commerce has a tendency just like geometry that has enlarged. The Japan's B to B and B to C electronic commerce has grown with a very fast speed.In 2003, they separately broke seventy-seven thousand billion riyuan and four thousand billion riyuan. Besides, the degree of enterprises'realization and usage to the electronic commerce are also very high. But, at the same time on the aspect of using mode and in the field of the using of the electronic commerce,they are expected to further develop. This thesis analyzes the definition of the electronic commerce and its mode, expatiates on the competitive advantages of the electronic commerce and the influences to the economy of the society, reviews the two kind modes of the Japanese electronic commerce( B to C and B to B),and analyzes the experiences and lessons of development modes of Japanese electronic commerce. Thus, it provides some references and enlightenments to explore the ways to develop the electronic commerce that is fit for the state in china. The whole thesis is divided into four parts. Part One: The advantages of the electronic commerce and its influence to the social economy. In this part, the author first did a synoptic representation about the electronic commerce and the mode of the electronic commerce.The meaning of the electronic commerce is that making the whole trading process electronic. On the aspects of skills, the scope of the business, the scope of the coverage, these are some different concepts about the electronic commerce, because it is a systemic project relating to aspects of the society. According to the different main styles of taking part in the trade, the electronic commerce is divided into B to C(Business to Consumer)and B to B (Business to Business) two modes. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the competitive advantages of the electronic commerce. Compared with the traditional commerce activities, as a new form, the electronic commerce has greatly cut down the cost of the enterprises, raised the efficiency of the operation, shorten the cycle period of the production, reduced some unnecessary links and lighten the dependency to the goods and materials and at the same time enlarged the business opportunity. Finally, the author expounded the influence of the social ecnomy to the electronic commerce. The electronic commerce improves the one whole body of the economy, alters the competitive mode of enterprises, improves the development of relative property.The electronic commerce plays a very important part in politics, economy, culture and some other aspects. Part Two: Analysis of the modes of Japan's mainstream B to C Electronic Commerce .The B to C Pattern with the special features of convenient chain store is the mainstream of the B to C electronic commerce in Japan at present. On the basis of developing web science, Japan makes use of mass of conventient chain store to form the unique operation pattern of the electronic commerce, which not only solved the problem of logistics distribution but also took on the skillful combination of the "New Economy"and the form of the local traditional economy for Japan.In this part, the author did an exploration about the modes of Japan's mainstream B to C electronic commerce from six aspects.First, the analysis to the backgroud.Many elements such as the development of visiting internet freely,the settlement of logistics difficulties,the restraint of some rules and the consumers'diversified demands set up the mainstream position which has the social feature of its convenient chain stores and own Japanese B to C pattern.Second, in the course of carrying out the Japan's B to C, the thesis analyzes the integrated model of the value chain, the conclusion is that with the help of using the integration of value chain, it broughe enterprises more competitive advantages and gain notable profits. Third, the author did an analysis to the operating circuit of modes of Japan's mainstream B to C. It stated that the B to C operating company with the special feature of the convencient chain stores did a transformation to the traditional operation pattern of enterprise and the method of reformation to the traditional business circuit, which realized the organic combination of the electronic commerce and the present situation in Japan. It created its own special feature on the aspect of B to C. Fourth, the author did an analysis to the competitive advantage. From the analysis, we can know the combination of the sales in the traditional convenient stores and the modern information brought enterprises acompetitive advantage. Fifth, the thesis analyzes the difference of B to C operation modes of the three convenient store companies in Japan. The profits of Family Mart's fair distribution, 7-11's profits belonging to the head office, the purpose of LAWSON'S "purchasing withoutany extra effort". Sixth, this part is about tendency of the EC development. The modes B to C of Japan's Electronic Commerce will gradually translate to M to M (Market to Market ). Part Three: The Analysis to Japan's B to B Electronic Commerce modes. This part discusses the Japan's B to B Electronic Commerce modes from three aspects. First, in Japan at present, about the Japan's B to B electronic commerce modes, the mainstream is manufacturer's guiding factor. It could divide into two modes: closed mode and lenthwise mode. The closed mode has a strong flavour of monopoly, but the lengthwise mode has the strong feature of series. Second, the reason why the Japan's B to B modes became the manufactors'guiding factor, which pointed out the monopoly economy modes has restricted the development of Japan's B to B electronic commerce, limited the distribution and using to the new economy and formed to B to B electronic commerce mode which is very different from America's. It is a closed—end and intensive series Japan's B to B mode in which manufacturers play a very main and important role. Third, this part tells us analysis and prospect about the development foreground of the Japan's B to B modes. The development tendency of Japan's B to B modes would gradually transform from the closed –end manufacturers guiding factor pattern to the open market pattern. Part Four: The Experiences and Lessons of the Japan's Electronic Commerce. In this part, the author first expounded the achievements and problems of the development of the Japan's electronic commerce. Its achievement is that: It realized the skillful combination of "New economy"and the form of local traditional economy, On the aspect of B to C, it showed its own special feature; on the aspect of attracting foreign capital, because recent years the electronic commerce developed very quickly in Japan, it attracted many foreign investments and infused vigous into Japanese economy; On the aspect of the adjustment of the economy structure, the fast development of the electroniccommerce makes a great contribution on the adjustment of Japanese property structure and the problem of solving unemployment;On the aspect of strengthening the competitive power, many enterprises in Japan greatly improved the efficiency of production plan management, the stock management, customer relationship management, and the perchase through internet. The effect is very obvious. From the whole analysis, the electronic commerce, as an international and popular commerce pattern is gradually paid attention to by Japanese enterprises and has a tendency of enlargement. It also exists some problems: The supply chain lacks efficiency, the doorstill of the market of the electronic commerce is too high, In the course of commercial operation lacks a unified standard, the risk investment is very limited, the concept of the electronic commerce is too conventional and some other problems like that. About the analysis above mentioned in the article, we could draw some experience and lessons of the development of the Japan's electronic commerce.In the article, the author first stated the present situation of the Chinese electronic commerce, finally the author put forward some enlightenments about the development of Chinese electronic commerce: First, in order to propel the electronic commerce, the innovation of the technology and the innovation of the management should organically combined; Second, doing the web optimuzation to the value chain of the tradition commercial circuit is the key point of getting success for the electronic commerce modes; Third, the logistics is a very important part of the electronic commerce; Fourth, the structure of the open—end trading platform is the successful assurance of the further development of the electronic commerce.
