Study On Industrial Integration And Its Countermeasure Based On The Nuclear Region Of Jilin Province

Recently, more and more researchers on economics and geography pay their attentions to industrial integration, which is a new kind of means to optimize spatial structure and to upgrade regional competitive power. Some of them have made deep research in this domain. In the views of regional economics, the main purpose of industrial integration is to solve many problems which exist among regions such as repeated construction, the decentralization of resources, the low industry relevancy ratio and so on. Furthermore, industrial integration effectively enhance the fitness of recourse and enlarge region's benefits. However, these profits wouldn't come true without the supports and guides from government. In this article, by taking the nuclear region of Jilin province for example, The author deeply analyzes the industrial problems of this representative region and points out the necessity of industrial integration. Furthermore, the author puts forward corresponding strategy and safeguard mechanism for the industrial integration. This paper includes four parts.Part I An introduction to the basic theories including the conception, the connotation and the means of industrial integration. Especially the paper emphasizes the importance of government in the process of industrial integration.Part II Using the qualitative and quantitative method, the author analyzes the nuclear region of Jilin province systemicly. Firstly, the author defines the bound of researched region. Then she analyses the advantage and disadvantage of industry development. Thirdly, the author dissects current characters of the industrial development and industry structure, then makes an estimate. At last the author ascertains preponderance of industry development in this region.Part III The paper focuses on how to integrate the industries in the nuclear region of Jilin province and puts forward some constructive ideas, such as: choosing nuclear industries, reorganizing corporations, regional economic union, establishing industrial clusters, industrial transfer and so on. Finally by carrying out those stratagems, the industrial superiority can be strengthened and economic development can be improved.Part IV The paper discourses upon safeguard mechanism and countermeasure for industrial integration in the nuclear region of Jilin province. To realize industrial integration, the government should perfect the socialist market economy system, reform state-owned enterprises , improve the social security system and so on.
