| Eco-industrial park (EIP) is one important domain of sustainable development research. Eco-industrial park is a new industrial organization form based on the principles of circular economy and industrial ecology, which demands each company implement cleaner production and emphasizes the cooperation of the members. It seeks to maximize resource and energy use efficiency, minimize waste, and enhances environmental and economic performance by exchanging mass, energy and information to construct the eco-industrial chains of the park.Industrial ecosystem that seeks to maximize resource and energy use efficiency and minimize waste is the core part of eco-industrial park and the essential part differed from tradition industrial park. Taken Shaoxing Binhai eco-industrial park as an example, the study researched the construction of industrial ecosystem.On the basis of broad literature research and practical on-site investigation of Shaoxing Binhai EIP, the study set up the industrial ecosystem of Shaoxing Binhai EIP by the designing of the park's members and eco-industrial chains, the planning of system integration and important items and so on. The research includes the following four aspects.(1) The structure planning of industrial ecosystem of Shaoxing Binhai EIP According to the principle and aim of eco-industrial park, the members of thepark were designed, the structure of industrial ecosystem was planned that mass and energy flow linked.(2) The planning of the eco-industrial chains of the main industriesThe eco-industrial chains of the main industries were constructed such as textile industry, new material industry, equipment industry etc. Some advice about industry development was given.(3) The planning of the system integration of industrial ecosystemOn the level of the firm and the park , the system integration (mass, water, energy and information) was analyzed. The industrial metabolism of PTA was described and the structure of water circulation system, energy cascading system andinformation system were constructed.(4)The planning of the importance itemsBased on the planning of industrial ecosystem, the important items of Binhai EIP development were advanced by forecasting the market demand and analyzing the feasibility of technology and economy.? At the end of the thesis, some suggestions about the construction of EIP were put forward, the work to be developed in future was prospected. |
