It can provide data for constituting the land management and programming of long and sustainable development that can reflect the land use dynamic transformation and the land use space pattern.The paper has explored land use dynamic changes and space pattern of shanxi province with the land use statistical data of 1991, 1996 and 2000 in shanxi and the land use actuality map of 2000 in shanxi. According to the land use analyst model, the paper has adopted the grey system method, the Geostatistical Analyst function and Apriori and its advanced arithmetic to analyst the land use dynamic changes and space pattern in shanxi. It shows:1, Land using dynamic changes analysis(1) In the 10 years, along with the city course's pushing, shanxi's economy can develop swiftly. A great deal of plough has been reduced. The nonuse land has been exploited. The garden plot, traffic land and resident land have been increased. The grassland and woodland have been increased because shanxi province has unfolded the large-scale forest planting.(2) The whole land using dynamic in shanxi has changed relatively fast. By comparing the later 4 years to the former 6 years, the change rate is 3 times in the later 4 years than the former 6 years. In general, the land using dynamic degree of the three stages is near on the space distribution. The land using dynamic degree of the three stages is greater in the economy advanced region in shanxi centre than the economy backward region in south shanxi and north shanxi.(3) In the 10 years, the plough has been reduced in the whole. The garden plot exponential space change rule is obvious in the region distribution. In short, the change is delicacy in the north and south region and acute in the centre region. The forest land index has been increased. The change is delicacy in the centre region and acute in the north and south region. The resident land index has been increased in the whole. The traffic land index and the city index are similar on the space distribution. The water index hasn't obvious change in the whole and the change is delicacy. The nonuse land index has been induced in the whole and the change is delicacy.(4) The land using degree of 1990% 1996 and 2000 of shanxi is similar in the whole distribution. The land using degree is high in the centre shanxi and low in the south and north shanxi. The land using degree is the highest in the city and is higher in the near city and is the lowest in the farer city.The distribution is the center polarization pattern.(5 ) The paper simulates and forecasts the various land classes areas and land using degree of shanxi province's various county and city by the grey system method. 2, Analyst land using space pattern with the Geostatistical Analyst function(1) The plaque's average area of the plough, the garden plot and the forest land in the economy backward region in south shanxi and north shanxi is greater. The plaque's average area of the resident land and the traffic land in the economy advanced region in shanxi centre is greater.(2) The degree of fragmentation of the plough, the garden plot, the forest landand the traffic land in the landform complex region in south shanxi and north shanxi is greater. The degree of fragmentation of the city and the water in the economy advanced and the terrain flat region in shanxi centre is greater.(3) The space distribution of the diversity index and the equality index is uniform. The diversity index and the equality index in the north shanxi and the west guanzhong is higher. The landscape superiority in the south shanxi is greater.(4) The degree of separation of the forest land in the east region is greater than that of the west region and that of in the south region is greater than that of in the north region. The degree of separation of the plough in hanjiang valley is greater than the other region. The degree of separation of the grassland in the west region is greater than that of the east region. The degree of separation of the garden land in the guanzhong region and the south shanxi is greater than that of the north shanxi. The degree of separation of the traffic land in the north region of north shanxi and the qinba mountain is greater than the other region. The degree of separation of the water in the south region of north shanxi is greater than the other region. The degree of separation of the nonuse land in the west guanzhong and the hanjiang valley is smaller than the other region.(5) The space distribution of shape index 2 and shape index 1 is greater in north shanxi than in the other region. The space distribution of shape index 4 and shape index 3 is greater in the east region of north shanxi than in the other region.(6) The space conjunction is the least between hanjiang valley whose diversity index is smaller and the other region in shanxi that shows the diversity index in hanjiang valley is always lower.3, The Apriori algorithm and its improved algorithm apply to the landscape pattern analysis(1) The paper improves the Apriori algorithm from three aspects of cropping frequent setN optimizing join and optimizing data base and advances the wheeling efficiency of the Apriori algorithm.(2) In shanxi, the lands are mostly the plough and the forest land. The lands are mostly lain in the economy backward region in south shanxi and north shanxi. The plough in the east guanzhong and west guanzhong is greater than that of the other region and the land's shape is ruler.(3) In shanxi, the woodland is mostly the shrub land. The plough is mostly the irrigated field and wangtiantian. The urban land is mostly the town, the rural residential area, the civil airport, the railway and the rural road, and they focus on the economy advanced region in guanzhong and the part region of the north shanxi. The garden plot is mostly the orchard, the mulberry and the tea garden.
