Research On China's Soybean Trade

China's soybean industry is now in dilemma! As the origination country and major producer of soybeans, China's soybean import volume is dramatically increasing in recent years. The future of China's soybean industry is currently a hot topic. Equipped with the latest statistic data, this paper analyzed the current trading condition of China's soybean industry. By comparing with other major soybean producers in the world, this paper made the attempt to find out the cause of the deterioration of the comparative advantage of China's soybean industry and its underlying competitive advantage. Possible solutions were also included to expedite the development of the industry in China.
