Researches On Competence Of Bulk Shipping Around Bohai Sea

With the development of international economy and the continuous strengthening of global communication, the competition among the ports aggravates increasingly especially in bulk shipping area. With the expansion of the Port function, the range of the port competitiveness changes rapidly. Under this circumstance, the research on the port competitiveness becomes especially important.Around-Bohai Sea area is one of the fast developing areas in China and economic focus after Changjiang and Zhujiang Delta. Economic development promotes the harbor construction. During the course of the harbor development, due to lack of consistent plan and macro control, there exits many cases of repeated construction and low-level competition. This dissertation analyzes the developing and competition situation of the harbors in the Around-Bohai Sea area, especially the three main harbors of bulk shipping (Tianjin, Dalian and Qingdao) and advances the construction of the harbors system in the Around-Bohai Sea area.During the process of index system determining, the author exerts the survey lists and reliability analysis on producing the port competitiveness index system and improved the correction of the index system.Finally it concludes the analysis and forwards some advice on the planning and development of bulk shipping around the Bohai sea.
