| In both developed countries and developing countries, medium-sized andsmall-sized enterprises' existing and development are playing a significant role inpromoting national economy, relieving the pressure of employment, optimizing theeconomic structure and fulfilling the adjustment of economic strategy. Based onthese aspects, this article presents an objective analysis of the current situation facingmedium-sized and small-sized enterprises in ZaoZhuang, a city in its market economyforming process. It also puts forward potential problems and their respective solutionand suggestion. This article consists of seven chapters. The first chapter serves as an introduction:the second chapter focuses on the status and function of medium-sized andsmall-sized enterprise while the third chapter examines theory basis of the developingof these enterprises. Chapter 4 makes a sum-up of the status of Zaozhuang'smedium-sized and small-sized enterprises. Chapter 5 gives analysis to difficulties andproblems facing these enterprises. Chapter 6 is the key chapter of this article and itmainly deals with the environment where these medium-sized and small-sizedenterprises are located and solutions to these existing problems.
