The Study And Implementation Of Credit Risk Management About Chinese Bankcard

Bankcard is a newer financial product which occurred in 1980s'.As a derivative,the bankcard is endowed with great risk. The major risk which Chinese commercialbanks are facing is the credit risk. The problem of credit risk has been the focus forthe market economy countries all over the world and is the main obstacle to thedevelopment of the bankcard of our country. So, in this case, the study of this problemhas much theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of studying the current status of the bankcard and the credit riskinvolved in commercial banks, by using the relative foreign theories and experiment,analyzed the performance, the origin reasons and the bad effects of the credit risk.Then it proposed that the lack of credit culture, inadequate of credit legislation and theadsence of individual credit system and the poor internal management of banksthemselves are the origins reason leading to the credit risk.Object to the above factor , in order to prompt healthy development of bankcardin our country, the thesis brought forward some policy suggestions to credit riskmanagement system of bankcard. Which include the establishment and perfection ofthe credit risk system and some concrete countermeasures. The whole system is referto the whole process of risk management involves beforehand, internal control anddeceiv management, afterwards despoit management .meanwhile it must establish theindividual credit system and the credit rating system. Under this management system,combining the current situation of bankcard, firstly to establish the creditconsciousness of the whole society, then to enforce the credit legislations, and toestablish the database information system and the mechanism to transfer orcompensate, these are all the main measures to resolve the credit risk management ofbankcard.
