Study On Technology Selection Problem Based On Technology System

Nowadays, technology develops quickly, economy is very dynamic and the competition becomes very fierce. It becomes an inevitable way for technology-based enterprise to build its own competence on the basis of technology system. However, it has become an important problem on theory study and practice, how does an enterprise select technology based on technology system.The dissertation summarized the literature with respect of technology system, technology selection and technology selection based on technology system first. Then, with the standpoint of evolution and approach of system, the dissertation analyzes the concept of technology system deeply: revealing the meaning of technology system, discussing the law and character of its evolution and the two types of driving mechanism (co-evolutionary mechanism of technology-institution and integration mechanism of technology-knowledge). From the aspect of technology strategy and technology evolution, the dissertation discusses the essence and meaning of technology selection, impacting factors and key principals. Therefore, the dissertation proposes creatively a theory frame of enterprise's technology selection based on technology system: analyzing concretely the correlation between technology system and technology selection, proposing the frame of technology selection and analyzing the core content and pointing out the three kinds of outcome of technology selection. This study will contribute to enterprise's technology selection and cultivating technology system.Under the guide of the theory frame of technology selection, the dissertation analyzes in practice the evolution process of computer technology system and pointing out different strategies that should be taken accordingly in different phase of the evolution (convergence and emanation). Besides, with the theory of technology selection, the dissertation analyzing the process of the evolution of automobile technology system from the positive and negative aspect and proposes deeply the reason of technology strategy failure and the correct direction of Shanghaiautomobile.In the finality, the problems requiring further studies are discussed.
