Comparison And Proposal Of Co-operation Between China And Korea IT Industry Advantage

China and Korea established trade co-operation relationship in 1992 and have officially launched trade activities ever since. Trade between Korea and China has become more dynamic in recent years as a result of dramatic increase in trade volume of Korea's IT industry. Actively promoting amicable co-operation on IT industry jointly by Korea and China turns to be imperative under the situation in order to advance trade co-operation between two nations and promote each other's economic development.The dissertation focused on analyzing and comparing IT intra-industry trade among China, Japan and Korea, put forward a proposal of IT industry co-operation between China and Korea. Analyzing tools including RCA, export volume, trade specialized index, market share and SITC have been adopted in systematically analyzing and comparing IT industry situations of China, Japan and Korea, as well as analyzing competitiveness of IT industries of Korea and China, a point of view regarding loss of competitiveness resulted from trade conflict in the industry has been denied, meanwhile, a conclusion of promoting the development of IT industry of both nations and improving competitiveness of the industry has been drawn. As for Korea's situation, competitiveness in international market could not be ensured without close trade co-operation with China. The research managed to make cooperative development of IT industries of China and Korea as a breakthrough, and worked out a proposal of how to further improve Korea's trade competitiveness through analyzing competitiveness situations of both nations' IT industries. Just the same, developing co-operation in IT industry with Korea is also critical for China. The co-operation would help China obtain more advanced technology and provide more solid foundation for the development of China's trade competitiveness.
