Operation And Management Analysis Of Transformed Enterprise Belonging To S Research Institute

Currently, the last fortress of Government-owned assets - the national Research Institutes, is more and more touched by the national economic reform. China' s reform on national research institutes has been going on for 20 years, and it is 6 years for their ownership transformation since 1999. However, for greater part of national research institutes, and for directing government department' s thereover, it is always a tough job as how the reform should be carried on in order to minimize mistakes and reduce the cost.Ownership transformation of national research institutes is a process in which a national research institute is transformed to a market player through replacing its old regime with a modern one so that whole or part of a national research institute will turn to market operation. There are three basic legal forms of enterprise for them to choose from: proprietary, partnership, and corporation. Presently, it is necessary that ownership transformation should be carried on in national research institutes, though there is still a long way to go.In this thesis, the success of the transformation of S research institute by creating W corporation is studied. Started from the argumentation before its setup, the creation process and the internal basic structure of W corporation is carefully studied, the management and execution regime during its operation is discussed, and its success experience is summarized, that includes taking advantage of science and technology, and sticking to the principle of professional operation andmarket exploitation.Since S Research Institute is characteristic of national research institutes, its transformation plan and process by creating W corporation is valuable to other homogeneous national research institutes.Of course, before it can be generalized as a transformation model, the success of its transformation shall be verified, or corrected if necessary, through practices of other homogeneous national research institutes.
