Manufacturer is the foundation of the development of national economy. Given the growth of manufacturer in our country, China will become the super manufacture country. It's very important for China to improve the manufacturer's performance and competitiveness in international market. Lots of scholars believe that there is close connection between HRM and firm performance, and that excellent practices are valuable not only for found competitive advantage but also keep it.This article was carried out with the questionnaire survey. Based on the results of investigating the role of employee's work attitude, this study has revealed the effect of HRM practices on organization commitment, job satisfaction and organization citizen behavior, and the effect of employee's work attitude on personal performance and firm performance. Then further discussion about the relationship of firm strategy, employee's work attitude, HRM practices and firm performance carried out.Several statistical methods are used in the whole data process, such as factor analysis, bivariate analysis, hierarchical regression, and path analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion, the conclusions are followed:(1) Many effective HRM practices in the West are also useful to Chinese manufacturers.(2) It can change employee's work attitude, detract turnover and improve personal performance through the adoption of some HRM practices.(3) Employee's work attitude mediates the relationship between HRM practices and personal performance.(4) Employee's work attitude mediates the relationship between HRM practices and firm behavior performance(5) Firm strategy moderates the relationship between HRM and firm financialperformance. When firm strategy fit with HRM, the firm shows betterperformance.Based on previous researches, we systemically discuss the mechanism of HRM's influence on performance in Chinese manufacturer .So it is very theoretical and practical. In the end, feasible suggestions on how to increase personal performance and firm performance are put forward.
