Research On Evaluating Enterprises' Self-Innovation Capability In Zhejiang Province

With the rapid growth of Zhejiang economics, all kinds of inconsistent and restricted factors are being accumulated continually. The way that remains economical growth by a large of devotion and consumption needs to be changed urgently; innovation is the basic and effective way to choose. At present, improving enterprises' self-innovation capability has become a key point to adjust economical structure, change the way of growth, and improve competence ability of country and area. So, realizing the essence of self-innovation capability accurately, understanding the effect of enterprises' innovation activities by evaluation systems scientifically, guiding enterprises to improve themselves self-innovation constantly, are now impending missions we must undertake.Firstly, the paper gives the definition of enterprise self-innovation capability, and analyzes the essence and characteristics. We point out that it is an organic synthesis of all kinds of capabilities in the self-innovationprocess. Secondly, based on innovation process, combining with the factors which affect success or failures in innovation, we construct the system structure of enterprise self-innovation capability. This paper points out that self-innovation capability is composed by the core system and the supporting system. The core system has R&D capability, manufacturing capability and marketing capability. The supporting system is made up of resources management capability and organization management capability. Thirdly, we analyze the major factors of enterprise self-innovation capability, according to the principles including scientific, comparable, operable and so on, we build enterprise self-innovation capability evaluation system. Fourthly, by the statistic analysis which evaluates enterprise self-innovation capability in Zhejiang province, we testify that the evaluation is effective and point out the effect which these major factors influence in innovation performance. Fifthly, we analyze a case to explain that Benchmarking is an effective way to improve enterprise self-innovation capability. Finally, considering the weak points of enterprises in Zhejiang province, we propose the suggestions to improve the enterprise self-innovation capability.
