Research On Development Strategy For Wuxi's Modern Logistics

The modern logistics has become a new aspect of growth in the development of our country's economics. As a center city in the area of Yang-zi River and one of the fifteen pivotal cities in China, Wuxi has put it into the tenth fine-year plan of development to develop the modern logistics. This thesis expounds the necessity of developing modern logistics in Wuxi, and analyzes the condition Wuxi has been in, the problems that will face us in the course of development and the competitive complexion in Wuxi. Basing on those, the thesis also gives some suggestion about how to develop the modern logistics in Wuxi. The thought of the strategies is to put emphasis on such three aspects as the business logistics connected with E-Business, the logistics serving for enterprises and the harbor logistics, so as to improve the economic efficiency and enhance the competence of the city. The thesis suggests that the logistics corporations in Wuxi should adjust and rebuild traditional logistics resource, ally with the other logistics companies, set up the brand of logistics service, initiate the logistics service and strengthen the competence. The corporations should choose the proper logistics pattern and reduce the logistics cost, and increase the logistics efficiency on the basis of the present condition.
