Entering new century, the research direction of job satisfaction turns explicit variables to inner mechanism: focusing on mental process, which hides behind the personal factors, and how the mental process influences job satisfaction. Through the method of Psychology, the study probed into the relationship between job satisfaction and positive-negative affect (PA-NA) in the Chinese culture. The study considered both personal dimension and job dimension together.According to analyzing the literature, visiting supervisor and open-ended inventory on the network, the study worked out the primary questionnaire of job satisfaction and emended the PANAS made by Bradbum. And then formed the formal questionnaires. The questionnaires carried out among the employees of enterprises, and the results are:1. The self-made job satisfaction questionnaire is of good reliability and fair validity .The emended PANAS is of good reliability and fair validity.2. PA and NA are two independent factors. They are two different dimensions of affect.3. The results of correlation show: job satisfaction is significantly positive correlated with PA and Affectivity stability (AB), and negative correlated with NA.The highest coefficient is AB, and NA is smallest. But the correlation isn't exist between all factors of job satisfaction and PA , NA, or AB.4. The results of MNOVA show: PA and NA have significantly influenced on job satisfaction, but the interaction isn't statistically significant. AB has significantly influenced on job satisfaction. The influences of low PA and moderate PA aren't statistically significant. But the influence of high PA is significant to the influence of low PA and moderate PA. Low PA's influence is significantly higher than that of high PA .The each groups of AB have significantly influence on job satisfaction.5. Regression analysis comes into being two regression models. Model 1 have two independent variables(PA- NA),and one dependent variable(job satisfaction). The Regression equation of Model 1 is y=3.174+0.111× PA-0.083×NA; Model 2 have one impendent variable(AB),and one dependent variable Qob satisfaction). The Regression equation of Model 2 is y=2.742+0.096 X AB.
