Making use of the price elasticity of demand, the paper has discussed the relationship between financial management and marketing management from the four aspects of regularity, knowability, serviceability of the price elasticity and business innovativeness, and drew a conclusion: the price elasticity of demand is a bridge between financial management and marketing managementBy setting up the Income-Profits Model, making amendment to the Product Life Cycle Model, and inquiring into the procedure of marketing strategy system, the paper has concluded that the price elasticity of demand includes the valid information of the market, and is an important parameter of marketing strategy; By making use of price elasticity of demand and related models, the paper has brought the core factors of financial management such as cost and profit into the marketing strategy, innovatively set up a dynamic, systematic and scientific system of marketing strategy, explained the methods of product strategy, sales promotion strategy and pricing strategy, and built the bridge between financial management and marketing management...
