On The Effect Of China's Antidumping Of Newsprint & Copperplate Paper

First, the thesis analyzed the economy effect of dumping and antidumping form the theory aspect., especially such effect under the condition of trade transfer, trade veering, FDI and dumping-again. The author chose two antidumping cases, Newsprint and Copperplate paper, to analyze. There are a great deal of data and facts being cited, to research the economic effect of the two cases on many areas, such as import trade, domestic manufacturer, domestic industry, upriver industry, trade transfer, trade veering, FDI and even retaliating in trade. The research indicated that the antidumping could really provide availably protection for domestic company and industry in a short period of time and the economic effect accorded with theory analysis. But, in a long period of time, it would be much more complex. Many factors could happen in a long period of time, including the factor of manufacturer itself, which weakened the positive economic effect of antidumping greatly.Chapter 1 and 2 of the thesis introduced the background knowledge and theory analysis. Chapter3, 4 and 5 demonstrated a series of economic effect of Newsprint and Copperplate paper antidumping cases. Chapter 6 was a summarizing about the analysis result of the pre-part of the thesis and provided some suggestions for government's policy at the same time.
