Research On Deposit Insurance And Designing China's Operating Model

With the development of our country's market economy, there will be much competence, which results in financial risk. To keep the financial system sound, it is necessary to introduce a deposit insurance system (DIS). Actually, the authorities have carried it to the schedule. This dissertation firstly introduces some factors of DIS such as content, functions, characters, operating and so on. By comparing the different DIS, we get some experiences and suggestions. Not only studies the related theories of DIS, this dissertation but also analyzes its negative effects. It expounds the relationship between DIS and financial stability, financial development, which supplied foundation for policy suggestions. Deposit insurance assessment is the core of risk management. This dissertation introduces and discusses deeply the option-pricing model, the expectation-loss-pricing model, the game-theory-based pricing model, then expatiates their shortage and reasonable pricing interval. It also makes quantitative analysis on the deposit insurance's price. Then it put forward the hierarchical pricing strategy was more fit for China's reality by empirical study. This dissertation analyzes the risk state, and points out that it is necessary for our country to build the DIS, from the springboard not only protecting advantage of depositors, strengthening control, but creating fair circumstance and reforming interest rate mechanism. Then it dissertation analyzes the factors restricting China from building DIS, and points out something such as market financial policy, maturing insurance subjects, huge insurance objects and aware of crisis, provides good opportunities. It is time for China to set up DIS. Based on the preamble, this dissertation advances the conceit of operation pattern for our country to build the DIS. This dissertation focus on some factors, such as objective and function, organization mode and capital source, insurance object, assistance manner, and so on. At the end of this assertion, the suggestions to build DIS in China are brought forward.
