Corporation's Boundary Theory And Application Study In The Iron & Steel Joint-Stock Company Of Chongqing

In order to fit in with the economical globalization and the challenge of the knowledge economic era, more and more corporations begin to adjust the organization structure and the boundary of the corporation. With the improvement of the average income level and the more unfair degree of income allocation, the mass market with similar preference has gone off, the consumer's preference has become personality and the market was subdivided into a variety of layers, which gave the chances to multitude small and middle corporations. Thus, it has important theory value and practical purpose to study the boundary of the corporation. A firm's boundary means essentially the scope of vertical and horizontal businesses. The dissertation applies the economics of information, theory of game and the new system economics to study the corporation boundary by the numbers. It is composed of six chapters: In chapter1, it explains the background and meaning of studying in this thesis, and proposes the research contents and method of the thesis. In chapter 2, it mainly carries on retrospect to the nature theory of domestic and international enterprises, the conclusion establishes stable base for studying the enterprise border and changing the law. In chapter 3, it systematically studies the theoty of corporation boundary, at the same time, it analyses the influence of opportunism integrated to enterprises by convict's predicament model in the playing chess theory, it also analyzed the formed reason of our county's vertical enterprise group, and raises three qualifications which dicide corporation's diversification boundary. In chapter 4, it analyses the vertical integrated behavior of the Chongqing Steel Limited Company by positive research method , and it appraises the economic performance in pluralism and business risk of this company,and it also propose some suggestions on the developing in steel industry in the future of Chongqing Iron&Steel Joint-stock Company. In chapter 5, it sums up the work has been done in this dissertation. This thesis has certain new meanings. they lie in: (1) This text uses the chess match model that convict's predicament to analyse why both the enterprises will to adopt the opportunism action, and does not adopt and establish trusting relationship under reciprocity terms. Through this model, it can draw conclusion: if enterprises want to control opportunism, it will bring the great amount of transaction cost; enterprises can dispel the great amount of transaction cost excepting integrating. (2) Use the modern industrial organization theory, and regard the game theory as analytical method and tool, if when enterprise obtain the key elements of input of different nature needed through the multiple channel to put forward, it must meet equilibrium between organizing efficiency and market efficiency. (3) We regard Chongqing Iron & Steel Joint-stock Company as a case and analyze shortly its vertical integration and horizontal diversification,and put forward some countermeasure and advice for its future...
