The coffer plays a more and more important role in people's life, the mobile coffer can not attach to the stable object, so it need other ways to raise its'security. The monitor system of electronic coding coffer is designed in this paper, and the function of can be traced is added through importing the GPS and GSM module.The main function modules of the system are GPS positioning module, GSM communication module, electronic code lock module, keyboard input module and LED display module. The detail design measure is given, which includs choosing core and modules, hardware and software design.The embedded microcontroller Atmega169 is used as the MCU in the system, whilch has integrated the UART interface, SPI interface and so on. The precision and low power consumption GPS module 6125D is used as the GPS receiving equipment core which can do precision positioning in the accuracy of 10 meters in 40 second. The BenQ M23G module is used as the wireless communication module core, and the GSM network is used as the communicate bridge, which ensure the signal strength and reduces the hardware complexity. The software mainly direct at the monitoring system. The plectronic code lock procedure, the interrupt service routine, the data communication procedures, etc are writen with C programming language. The users can modify the password, alarm conditions choose and take the initiative to check the current location.The security of the mobile coffer has increased greatly though adding the the function of can be traced. Once the coffer is judged to be stolen, it send location information to complete alarming. After design, the debugging of modules has done, and the expected results has goten though actual testing. Finally, the test results has been given in the paper and the the feasibility of the design has been proved.
