Evidence Of Digital Preservation System Quality Certification

The building of Digital preservation system is an arduous and complicated task, which involves not only the number of technical factors, but also involves a large number of social factors. Standards or criteria must be followed to provide high quality services to ensure the function of digital repository and to meet user needs.The eventual purpose of digital repository is to preserve the cultural heritage of humankind in long-term, and to provide trustworthy access service to users. Thus, the study of Evidence is one of the most important works of Digital Preservation System Quality Certification. This dissertation studies 4 aspects on the evidence of digital preservation system quality certification. This paper analyzes the concept of quality certification, significance and principles of the digital preservation system, and discusses the concept, significance and classification of evidence for quality certification of digital preservation system of evidence. Secondly, explores the concrete evidences of the four modules about digital preservation system quality certification. Thirdly, based on the analysis, this paper makes suggestions on the management principle and Management mechanism of digital repository preservation system quality criteria evidences. Finally, it gives suggestions on the development of digital repository preservation system quality criteria evidences.
