| A comprehensive international competition has been introduced to the financial field after China became a member of the WTO. The most important issue for the whole China's banking industry is to strengthen the sense of service while improving the management system and enhancing financial product innovation. Nowadays it is becoming a more and more urgent problem for all banks about how to make use of the current IT technologies to build a bank's CRM system with implement customer segmentation, and how to provide "one on one" personalized service to superior customers.According to our bank's actual business needs, the dissertation is intended to make research on the data mining based CRM system, The main tasks are as follows:(1) The dissertation makes brief introductions on data mining, its research and application all over the world, the relationship of data mining and data warehouse, and the differences between data mining and traditional methods. It also presents the concept of customer relationship management with the application of typical data mining ways in CRM.(2) Utilization of customers' banking products to calculate every client's credit and implement customer segmentation with a sample dataset sourced from the business data of a single bank outlet. Then acquire frequent item sets after apply data mining of association rule on the extension products held by the superior customers.(3) Based on research mentioned above and our bank's network topology, we realize the framework design and function implementation of the Personal Customer Relationship Management system (PCRM for short).In particular, the cross-selling module which adopts the association rules promoted by data mining has made good progress after trial operation. |
