Research On Trust Model And Authentication Mechanism Of Grid Security

Developing with the Internet, Grid computing is a new distributed computing which is special for the domain complicated science computing. It can be distributed as a giant super- virtual -computer, which is integrated with the whole internet. The traditional Internet realizes the connectivity of the computer hardware, and web which connects the web pages, but grid aims at the connectivity of all the resources of the internet including computing resources, storage resources, communication resources, software resources, information resources and knowledge resources etc.Because of a number of characteristics of grid environment, the grid computing concerns more security problems than any other common problems of network environment, and a lot of new security problems have appeared in the grid environment, these security problems are receiving more and more attentions. At present, there is not an integrated solution to satisfy these security demands.Against the background of basic concept, current situation and existing security issue of Grid technology, this dissertation focuses on the research of Grid security technology, it analyzes the existing Grid service architectures. Based on this, it generalizes the application of the technology in the Grid security; also it summarizes their application context and analyzes their own superiority.The key to the study of the thesis is trust model and Grid authentication technology. Trust relationship is the important means that guarantee the security of Grid, based on the research of the existing trust model, a new trust model has been proposed, this model can deal with trust relationship of Grid environment more efficient, it takes different ways to deal with trust relation in and between domains. Compared with previous trust model, a preferable performance in availability of the model is indicated through analysis and experiment simulation, and the security problems have been solved more effectively which exist in grid environment. Identity authentication technology is the first duty of Grid security, through the intensive analysis of the authentication technology of the network security, combing with SOAP technology, a new authentication mechanism is proposed and designed, and the entire security of the grid system can be remarkably increased.
