Speech Recognition is an important technical means for human-computer interaction. Good performance and low cost embedded Speech recognition system which providing convenient service for human-computer interaction will have broad application prospects, will be widely used in areas such as Smart appliances Interface, Smart Toys, Intelligent Instrument etc.Embedded speech recognition system research and development, has an important significance and extensive market research applications.Through analyzes the characteristics and research status of embedded speech recognition system, a design of a low-cost small vocabulary isolated word speech-specific human recognition module was proposed. The design is to make the module has friendly man-machine interface, can work both independently and through the interface module coordination with other systems.First, the core chip and software algorithms was selected.Then, a speech recognition module test platform hardware was designed; Finally, the speech recognition module software was designed and tested. Specifically include the following three aspects:1. A low-cost Microcontroller C8051F120 was selected which is suitable for speech signal acquisition and processing. The hardware platform for speech recognition and test was Designed.The platform includes forward channel voice signal acquisition, man-machine interface circuit, data storage, processing circuit.2. Combined the characteristics of the MCU to desigin the system software, the coefficient of SCM operations, parameters, recognition algorithm, combined with the multiplier-accumulator MCU by further optimization of the algorithm process to ensure accuracy in the case, so that processing speed has improved.3. The performance of speech recognition modules was tested. Acontrolled office lights switcheswas designed which use the speech recognition module. Experiments show that the speech recognition module has achieved objectives of design.
